Chad Opal, a member of our Eagles community in Iowa, recently survived a terrifying attack just days before Christmas. Confronting an intruder on his property, Chad was stabbed multiple times in the head, jaw, and chest, yet he fought to survive. What followed was pure heroism. His 10-year-old daughter Autumn stayed calm on the phone with 911, while his 16-year-old son rushed in to help his father restrain the attacker until police arrived.
